Yes it's true, we have lovely mountains here in the mile high state. I've lived here my whole life and they can still take my breath away...

Places of Worship
I am not exactly religious but I love the unique architecture of the churches and synagogues of Cap Hill...
Mural
Located just a few blocks of the Convention Center is the most awesome mural. I lucked out and stumbled upon it right during sunset. The result was satisfying.
Cheeseman in the Winter
Ask me what my favorite season is and sometimes I might say winter. Winter is good for thinking. Winter air feels cleaner. Winter is good for long, silent walks in the park where you can see and admire every single intricate, frozen branch on the trees above.
Lady in Black
During my lunch breaks I like to go walking. I work in Cap Hill and during my excursions I come across random graffiti and wall art in random allies and hidden corners. Lately I've noticed this lady. She looks the same regardless of where I spot her (these were taken in 3 different locations) She's always faceless and dark. I don't know who she is, what she means or what she represents.
Coffee Buddy
See this guy...he's my partner in crime. He's also my best friend and best of all, we both share the same addiction to caffeine. We like to hit up the coffee shops in Denver, from Starbucks to holes in the wall, but nothing beats a cup at good old Breakfast King.

Little People
I like my students. What I like most of all is their "littleness" and the fact that they have to navigate this big world void of common sense and reliable gross motor skills, but somehow they do it. They learn and grow and change and there are days when I look at them and think,"Holy Crap! When did you learn how to do that?" They are amazing really, little people need more credit.
